Victorian and Edwardian terraces around the High Street and the roads down towards Teddington Lock. That mix shapes how we approach interior painting and decorating here: the preparation is the job, and the topcoat is what you see at the end of it.
Most interior jobs we are called to have the same story behind them: a previous decorator painted over the problem instead of fixing it. Filler that was never sanded flat, hairline cracks that opened again over the winter, gloss laid straight onto bare knots. We take the time to put that right first, because the topcoat only ever looks as good as what sits underneath it.

Ceilings are cut in by hand rather than taped. We work in the order that keeps dust off finished surfaces, and the room is tidy at the end of every day, not just the last one.
Teddington houses are mostly Victorian and Edwardian, which means original sash windows, lath-and-plaster ceilings and stairwells that have settled.
